Are you worried about the potentially fatal health risks of childhood obesity?

You're right to worry!

Studies on the data from the National Health and Nutrition survey discovered that
2.7 million children in the United States are severely obese.

And as the parent of an over-weight child, you're probably feeling guilty that you've let it get this far, but you're not sure what to do about it.

It's tough. You work, you take care of your home and children, and all of the other little parental duties that add up to a lot of time. Of course you're tired, and you shouldn't feel guilty about giving yourself a break and picking up take-out every once in awhile, or letting your kids play video games so you can get something done. But...

...Make no mistake:

"Every Once In A While" Can Lead To Bad Habits That Are Hard To Break

It's easy to lose a grip on eating out once in awhile, to doing it 3-4 times a week. Or letting your child veg in front of the TV when you're busy, to just letting them spend all their waking hours watching it.

What started as something you did on occasion has snowballed into a bad habit. And we all know that bad habits are hard to break.

But the truth is, if you don't do something right now, today...your child is can end up being a statistic like this one:

According to a 2004 report issued by the CDC, 400,000 deaths each year in the United States are caused by obesity.

Scary isn't it?

You see,
the number of overweight children is 3 times higher today than it was 25 years ago; and no wonder:

  • You can get every kind of food imaginable delivered to your house
  • You can access the world from your home computer
  • Cell phones and video games are attached to every child's body like a third arm
  • You can flick on the TV and you have hundreds of channels available at the click of a button

In 1984, kids spent their time outside playing because there wasn't anything to do indoors. They actually had to walk to their friend's house because they didn't have a cell phone to text or call them.

And eating meals at home was more common because you just couldn't get the kind of food delivered to your door that you can today.

Lots of exercise and home cooked meals, and of course children aren't as likely to be overweight.

So it adds up to this:
